Driving to SJUSJØEN / MOSTE
We are located 3km further in to the forest/mountain area from Sjusjøen Skisenter. Take off the main road to Sjusjøen when you see sign for Sjusjøen Hytteutleie, Sjusjøen Skisenter and Sjusjøen Café 4km before ahead of the centre of Sjusjøen. From there follow signs for Sjusjøen Husky Tours.
Directions From LILLEHAMMER:
Find the road Sjusjøvegen with signs for Sjusjøen and follow that road until you see signs for Sjusjøen Skisenter, Natrudstilen Hytteområde and Sjusjøen Cafè - that is 4km ahead of the centre of Sjusjøen. Then follow signs for Sjusjøen Husky Tours, you have 6km left to go.
Directions from OSLO - NB! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU FOLLOW THIS ROUTE!
Be aware that most navigators will ask you to take off the E6 by Brumunddal but you should go a bit further to Rudshøgda where you take off. Follow the signs to Sjusjøen passing Mesnali. After Mesnali follow the road towards Sjusjøen another 3km (which is 4 km ahead of Sjusjøen) and turn right following signs for Sjusjøen Skisenter. Now you will also see signs for Sjusjøen Husky Tours, you have 6km left to go. Look at the map below and be also aware that if you follow your navigator earlier than Mesnali you will meet at road that is not opened in the winter.
This is the route that you should follow from direction Oslo. Follow E6 until Rudshøgda then pass Næroset, Åsmarka, Mesnali and take off Sjusjøvegen when you see signs for Sjusjøen Skisenter. After that you may find us on gps as well as follow signs to Sjusjøen Husky Tours.
ReACHING US BY TRAIN AND BUS
It is possible to reach us by public transport especially if you book in the weekend, after 11th of December and also if you are ok walking 3km. Book a tour that with time to meet 12:30. Catch a train to Lillehammer early enough to reach the bus that leaves the station of Lillehammer at 10:20 route 501 Innlandstrafikk Saturday or Sunday. Get off at Sjusjøen Ski center (alpine ski center), you will be there at 10:47. From there walk the route described in the map below. Back again there is a bus from the ski center at 15:47.
If you would like to join us on another day than Saturday or Sunday you should still book the tour with time to meet 12.30, or if you wish to join 30km ask ida if time to meet can be adjusted. Also, we recommend staying in Lillehammer the night before as you need to catch a bus from Lillehammer at 09:20 in the morning. That bus will go to Sjusjøen Skisenter (alpine ski center) on the way back to Lillehammer again, not on the way up. Therefore, keep sitting on the bus to the final stop at Sjusjøen and about 4km direction Lillehammer again. The bus will reach Sjusjøen Ski Center at 10:24. Here, you get off and follow the map underneath. You will be walking in the road that we drive our cars so usually well cleared in the morning after snow fall in the night. Back again is the same as on weekends described above.

As some of the roads are not cleared during the winter do not use gps but follow our explanation.
